The Virginia Barber School is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and certified by the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia (SCHEV)—meaning we can extend financial aid to those who qualify. We believe in a hands-on approach to learning, helping most students complete their training in just 7-8 months.

King, a Master Barber with 20 years of experience and owner of a Richmond barbershop, struggled to find skilled barbers. His solution? Build a training program and hire his own graduates.
